Professor Motti Hallak, Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, a gynecologist and specialist in maternal-fetal medicine. A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, who also received specialty training in maternal-fetal medicine from Baylor University in Huston, Texas, and Detroit University in Michigan, USA. As part of his work he completed his residency at Rambam Hospital in Haifa and specialized in gynecology at the Carmel Hospital in Haifa.
From 1992 to 1995 he served as the Head of the High-Risk Pregnancy Unit at Carmel Hospital. From 1995 to 1999 he went on to serve as a doctor and lecturer at Detroit University in Michigan, USA, where he was appointed as an associate professor. During this time he studied to earn a master’s degree in public management, focusing on medical services management.
From 1999 to 2005 he went on to serve as the Director of the High-Risk Pregnancy Unit at the Soroka Medical Center as well as the Deputy Director of the hospital and the Interim Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology A. During these years he also began to serve as a professor at Ben Gurion University.
Since 2005 he serves as the Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera.
