Ben Moshe Amnon, Dr.

Dr. Amnon Ben Moshe grew up and was educated in Pardes Hanna, where he still lives. He is married and the father of two children.

Dr. Ben Moshe was discharged from the IDF after several commanding roles (Lieutenant Colonel (res.)) and began working for the Ministry of Health, initially as a regional security officer, and later, from September 1989, as the Administrative Director of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. After his retirement, in April 2023, Dr. Ben Moshe was appointed Director of The Hillel Yaffe Fund for Health Services and Research.

Over the years, he has served as chairperson or member of dozens of think tanks and/ or steering committees on a variety of the issues and activities of the health system and Civil Service Commission.

From 1995-2002, he served as the Chairperson of the Directorate of Governmental Medical Centers.

From 1998-2004, he was a member of the National Council for Logistics in Health Care.

In 1994, he was awarded the Director General of the Ministry of Health’s Award – “in appreciation of his special contribution to fill the national mission for which the ministry is responsible.”

In 2003, he was awarded an award of excellence for administration from the Head of the Civil Service Commission, “in appreciation and esteem for his contribution to the Civil Service.”

In 2021, he was awarded a National Award for Quality and Excellence in the Public Sector from the Civil Service Commission for “making a mark in all areas of administration and economy in a manner which brought and brings a constant improvement in the hospital’s functioning.” To the entire article >>

Dr. Ben Moshe completed his studies in Health Systems Administration and Business Administration at the University of Haifa. He is a graduate of the School of Political Sciences at the University of Haifa – a B.A. and M.A. in Public Administration, specializing in Health Systems Administration, and Ph.D studies. He is a graduate of the Program for Social Policy and Public Administration, Faculty B, Class 12, ELKA-JDC and the Civil Service Commission.

Dr. Ben Moshe was included in the list of mediators, in accordance with Regulation 2 of the Court Regulations (List of Mediators), 5756-1996.
