Hallak Motti, Prof.

Director of the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science Department

Gynecologist and specialist in maternal-fetal medicine. Prof. Hallak graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and holds a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine from Baylor University in Houston, Texas, and Detroit University in Michigan. He completed his internship at the Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa and his residency was in gynecology at the Carmel Medical Center in Haifa.

 

From 1992 to 1995, he was Director of the High-Risk Pregnancy Unit at the Carmel Medical Center. Between 1995-1999 he worked as a doctor and teacher at the Detroit University in Michigan, where he was also appointed to be an associate professor. At the same time he studied for a master’s degree in Public Administration, focusing on medical services administration.

 

From 1999-2005 he served as Director of the High-Risk Pregnancy Unit at the Soroka Medical Center and Deputy Director of the hospital and Acting Director of the Gynecology and Obstetrics A Department. During these years, he also began working as a full professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

 

Since 2005, he has worked as the Director of the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science Department at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, Hadera.
