In honor of International Women’s Day, the Government Medical Teams Division has published a list of the 24 leading and most influential women for 2022. These are inspiring women who direct and lead their area of responsibility in an exceptional manner.
One of them is Dr. Beatrice Tiosano, who has served as Director of Hillel Yaffe's Ophthalmology Department for 10 years. Dr. Tiosano is an expert in surgery for cataracts and glaucoma, a born director and leader, who views everyone as her equal. A Renaissance woman, a talented surgeon, who is innovative in her field and brings knowledge and technology to the forefront. Over the years, Dr. Tiosano has impressively advanced the hospital’s Ophthalmology Department, both in the extent of its activity and in expanding the ophthalmologic subspecialities and professionalism, such as state-of-the-art and groundbreaking methods for glaucoma surgery.
