This week a one-of-a-kind exhibition was inaugurated at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. It brings together various works, all of which were illustrated and designed with great talent by members of the Graphic Design Association of Israel and the Social Design Community, as part of a project known as Post-October 7. The exhibition was first displayed at the Cameri Theatre of Tel Aviv and was defined as a rotating exhibition. It is made up of 32 posters selected from 70 that were designed by members of the association in conjunction with the Social Design Group and dedicated to issues related to the horrid events of October 7 and the war that followed.

Gal Sunshine, CEO of the Association, said the following at the opening, “We can never forget that even if we felt we had lost for a few hours on that cursed morning of October 7, we win every day, and there is no better example than the work that is done every day at this outstanding hospital that is hosting the exhibition. Unfortunately, nothing can repair the hole in our hearts other than the hostages returning home.”

“The posters serve as a reminder of the difficult emotions we all felt on that black Saturday that have trickled into our everyday awareness,” said Hillel Yaffe Medical Center Director General, Dr. Mickey Dudkiewicz. “It is very important that we do not allow the emergency routine we currently live in become a routine with no purpose or a prayer for better times.”

The exhibition is located at the entrance to Inpatient Building A at the hospital and will be on display through the coming month for the benefit of the patients, employees and visitors.
