Human Resources - the employees who were recognized for workplace excellence are from these Hillel Yaffe Medical Center departments.
The prizes were awarded at a well-attended ceremony, at which each person recognized for excellence came on stage, one after the other, with Dr. Amnon Ben Moshe, Administrative Director of HYMC, explaining why each of them was selected to receive this honor. Additionally, four volunteers from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, NICU, Orthopedics B and Delivery Room, who stood out for their work this year were awarded prizes for excellence.
Dr. Amnon Ben Moshe, who also opened the ceremony, noted that the people who were selected to receive the prizes for their work all demonstrated values of excellence that contribute to a better workplace. He further stated that human capital is the heart and soul of the organization, and that all organizations need employees who identify with its concepts and work tirelessly 365 days a year.
His statements were strengthened by Dr. Mickey Dudkiewicz, Director General of HYMC, who said that those being recognized with prizes of excellence went above and beyond the call of duty, who regularly go the extra mile on the job to create change and a better future. He continued to say that the excellence demonstrated is personal, and sometimes a group effort, but it still always needs the active contribution of all employees in the wide array of professions and positions in the hospital, because the human mix at the hospital and the contribution of all the employees are important and powerful.

During the ceremony, which was organized by the Human Resources Department, Mr. Avi Koch also spoke on behalf of the hospital's workers committees, as did one of the volunteers recognized for excellence, Ms. Rina Arieli, and representatives of the outstanding employees - Ms. Pesia Grissero, who spoke about the privilege and pride in being part of the Hillel Yaffe family and the commitment the prize instills to continue and even raise the existing bar.
The surprise of the event was provided by Dr. Muhammad Madlaj, a resident in Internal Medicine A, and his friend Muhammad Abu Hussein, who closed the ceremony with a medley of songs, which they played expertly on the violin, guitar and organ.
