Our very healthy female power!

A glass ceiling? You’ve got to be kidding. Hillel Yaffe Medical Center employs a large number of women in senior positions in all sectors. In honor of International Women’s Day, take a look at the current situation in an organization where professionalism comes first

International Women’s Day is a good time to be proud that at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center it is professionalism that counts. How is this seen? Over 50% of the management positions in the hospital are filled by women.

The breakdown is as follows: over one third of the senior management in the medical sector are women (unit and department director level); in the paramedical sector (physical therapy, laboratories, etc.), with the exception of one man, all directors are women; in the Household and Administration sector, there are 13 women directors, comprising 50% of all the directors, in departments including Human Resources, Finance, Legal Counsel, etc. And in the nursing sector, where women predominate, in both the hospital and in general, the vast majority of head nurses are female, including in the Nursing Administration, which is headed by Dina Fainblat.

“We work hard to bring high-quality human resources who will provide the best possible treatment and excellent service. We focus on abilities and capabilities, not on gender, religion, race, or ethnic origin,” said Dr. Mickey Dudkiewicz, Medical Center Director. “I am very proud that we have a group of high-quality managerial-oriented and professional women directors, which is a reflection of both their talents and relative proportion of the population.”

Happy Women’s Day!
