Certificate of Appreciation to Hillel Yaffe’s Surgery Division

For around a year, Hillel Yaffe Medical Center has been hosting a unique joint project of the Medical Center Surgery Division and the IDF Trauma Branch, with the participation of doctors and residents from the hospital Surgery Division and IDF doctors from the various army corps.

Once a month, IDF doctors come to the hospital to learn, gain experience, and enrichen their knowledge in treating trauma victims. This month, during their visit to the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, the IDF doctors awarded a certificate of appreciation to the Director of the Surgery Division, Prof. Boris Kassel, and Director of the Trauma Unit and the person who essentially led the project, Dr. Alexander Korin, for the training, learning, and experience gained by the soldiers, which contributes to improving the young doctors’ skills and helps them with the decision-making process in the field.
