The Babies at Hillel Yaffe who Waited for the New Decade

It seemed in Hillel Yaffe’s delivery room that they were just waiting for the new decade to begin – At one minute after midnight and five minutes after midnight, Marlin Jamal from Jatt and Tali Sasson from Or Akiva gave birth one after the other. Mazel tov to 2020!

Marlin, aged 26, for whom this is her third birth, had a third daughter weighing 3.276 kg (7lb 3.5oz) at 12:01 a.m. She was accompanied by midwife Adi Dahan during the birth. This was Tali’s fourth birth, and her son, born after three girls, weighed 3.210 kg (7lbs 1oz) and came into the world at 12:05 a.m. Her midwife for the birth was Henya Gueta.

Nurse Shirli and the doctor on the shift, Dr. Dvir Redder, joined the photograph in the delivery room. Hillel Yaffe Medical Center's Maternity Division ended 2019 with around 4,600 particularly happy births.
