Occupational therapy is identified primarily with children who have been diagnosed with various difficulties. However, in reality it is a broad field which also provides solutions for adults. To mark World Occupational Therapy Day, Ms. Ronit Gilat, Director of the Occupational Therapy Service at Hillel Yaffe, explains

The new academic year at Hillel Yaffe’s School of Nursing began this week with a record number of 109 students in the course that retrains college graduates for careers in nursing, along with those studying in the regular academic year

During his visit, he said: “Kudos to the hospital and staff who continue to persevere despite the incredible load they bear, something not to be taken for granted when over 10% of the hospital’s beds are designated for coronavirus patients”
